Student Agreement Document and Code of Conduct

 

BACAA has the right to dismiss or refuse admission to students that are not in compliance with the terms and conditions listed below.

1. BACAA will review samples of prospective students work prior to accepting an application. Student submitted artwork does not guarantee acceptance in any of the BACAA classes, workshops or programs.

2. All paid tuition is non-refundable and not transferable. This includes all BACAA classes, workshops and programs. Sorry, no exceptions.

3. If BACAA cancels any class, workshop or program, paid tuition will be refunded.

4. Solicitations for other classes, workshops or events are not permissible without consent from BACAA.

5. Non-Transferable means that no one can attend on your behalf. Your registration cannot be transferred to another student or person representing the student

6. Non-transferable means that you cannot transfer your registration fees to another program, workshop, or class. Sorry no exceptions

7. All registration fees are due on the specified due dates.

8. BACAA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles during BACAA classes programs and workshops.

9. BACAA may ask to post copies of student's artwork for publicity

10. BACAA may ask to use student's photograph for program publicity.

11. All photographs, video and audio recordings of BACAA workshop sessions are Copyright by Bay Area Classical Artist Atelier and may not be sold, distributed or reproduced with written consent of BACAA.

12. Student agrees that they will not video tape the sessions by using video camera, digital camera, cell phone or computers.

13. Students may not photograph the model.

14. Student agrees that BACAA is not liable for any injury medical or mental. BACAA accepts no responsibility for any student loss associated with unrecoverable travel costs or reservations.

15. Cell phones need to be turned off during all BACAA sessions.

16. Please be respectful, do not change the models pose or talk to the model while she is posing. If you have, a concern then you may share your concern with the monitor during the break and not during the session.

17. The model will pose for 20 minutes and then take a 7-minute break, then resume with the pose. Please be at your easel when the model begins her pose, pose times are punctual.

18. We will close the doors prior to the start of each pose.

19. The front row is reserved for students who prefer to sit down. Those students who wish to stand at their easels will have the space behind the seated students.

20. Seating will be assigned by raffle.

21. If you arrive late, please enter quietly. If you have equipment to set up, please wait for a break to set up so that you do not disrupt the class.

22. Please keep your personal items to a minimum to save on space.

23. Please take your belongings including your drawings and paintings with you when you leave each day.

24. We will have the assigned chairs and easels set up before you get to class each morning.

25. Copies of our daily schedule will be posted on a designated table for your convenience.

26. Please refrain from talking while class is in session

27. Pets are not allowed during BACAA sessions

I hereby absolve the Bay Area Classical Artist Atelier, their employees, independent contractors and officers from all liability that may arise as a result of my participation in any BACAA activities. In the event that the below-named participant is a minor, I hereby give my permission for his/her participation as indicated and in so doing, absolve the Bay Area Classical Artist Atelier, their employees, independent contractors, from such liability.
